COLLEGE/DISTRICT COMMITTEES
FA has the right to have representation, in a non-voting capacity, on the following college committees.  The information gathered and the recommendations made at these meetings are very important since these groups often shape the direction of the District and the two colleges.  One FA representative is needed to serve on each committee.

Foothill Curriculum Committee - This committee is responsible for curriculum development and approval of courses, programs, and grading policies. The committee meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m.  Representative reports to the FA Vice President on proceedings and problem areas.

De Anza Curriculum Committee - This committee is responsible for curriculum matters, including the adoption of new courses and changes in courses and the educational program.  The committee will meet every Tuesday from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. in the Administrative Conference Room. Representative reports to the FA Vice President on proceedings and problem areas.

Foothill Professional Conference Fund Committee - This committee is responsible for reviewing and awarding monies to faculty for professional
conferences or seminars.  Meets as needed.  Representative reports to the FA Vice President on proceedings, problem areas, and makes recommendations for change.
